Yale Blaze Climbing Line

Yale's Blaze climbing line is a super-lightweight doublebraid climbing line from one of the top manufacturer's of Arborist Rope, and is becoming one of our most popular light-weight arborist lines. Blaze is a 24 strand 11mm (7/16") spliceable braid that is very easy to see in the tree and handles great. Excellent for long climbs where the weight of your line really matters. This rope has a breaking strength of 5,600 lbs which is the standard requirement for a life-support line in the arborist industry. Blaze weighs 6lbs per 100'.

This all new 12mm 24-strand climbing line from YALE CORDAGE is based on the same manufacturing process, construction, and success as the 11.7mm Blue Moon rope.

This rope gives climbers all the advantages and characteristics of a lightweight 11.7mm rope but gives the feel of a 13mm rope in the hand.

Yale Cordage has developed and incorporated a new type of taslanized (textured) fiber into the rope structure which provides bulk, and therefore an enhanced grip for better ergonomics. This fiber is blended with a 100% solution dyed filament polyester into the construction.  This unique blend allows the fibers to be exposed on both the outer sheath and also on the inside of the sheath providing more friction to the inner core which helps to minimize excessive elongation while providing a superior unsurpassed grip for the climber.

With a full splash of bright high visibility yellow, orange and red fibers, XTC Fire is made from extrusion-dyed polyester, resulting in permanent coloration that wonít fade or run with use. The tightly woven 16-strand construction with a high twist core of torque-balanced polyester keeps the line firm and round, providing an extra measure of safety and performance.

XTC Fire is an excellent choice for both climbing line and bull rope due to its non-snagging, abrasion-resistant construction and excellent energy absorbing characteristics. This splicable line is available in 1/2" diameter with an average breaking strength of 6,200 pounds
