Haix Chainsaw Boots

Everyone has been waiting with baited breath for the latest addition to the Haix stable of chainsaw boots. Although we have been involved from the very beginning of the design and prototyping stages, we were a bit uncertain exactly when we would get stock. Well, surprise surprise, the first shipment landed today.

This new boot is without doubt the most comfortable chainsaw boot that Haix have produced, having their patented Airpower sole unit. At every stage of prototyping and testing, the climbers involved were always reluctant to give back their boots after the test period, that is the best result any manufacturer can ask for. This sole offers much greater flexibility for those who prefer more feel and has a very good coefficient of friction.
We have absolutely no doubt this boot will be a huge winner, and suggest you get stocks as soon as you can.

Conforms to EN345 S2 Class 1
A new boot, modelled on the well-proven Haix Tibet Forest, this boot has several subtle refinements to make it even more suitable for arborists use. More flexibility to the toe area and a lower profile lacing system are some of the features. The boot also has the same sole unit as the Trekker Pro for improved grip. The rubber/PU sole is moulded to the upper with additional moulding to the toe.

Outer Material: Waterproof, hydrophobic, breathable, oil tanned leather, 2.5 - 2.7mm thick. One piece seamless upper giving good stability and extended wear life.

Footbed: The footbed is anatomically formed and is removable. It is washable and dries very quickly. It has very good moisture absorption.

Membrane: GORE-TEX Waterproof membrane is breathable and resistant to some chemicals.

Climate System: HAIX Climate control system with Micro Dry lining, transports heat and moisture up through the lining and tongue, providing excellent comfort.

Tongue: The tongue is anatomically formed and softly padded.

Scuff Cap: The boot has a stitched and glued rubber scuff cap to prevent damage to the leather at the toe of the boot

Toe Cap: Specially anatomically formed wide fit toe-cap conforming to EN344 200 joule.

A chain saw boot hand built to the exceptional standards of the HAIX Tibet Forest boot is an outstanding product in today's market place.

Apart from the rugged and stylish appearance, we believe this boot offers more high-tech features than any other chainsaw boot currently available.

This is the entry level chainsaw boot from Haix and has been developed to satisfy the middle market. Although the quality and build are typical of other HAIX products, its lower price has been acheived by removing some of the high-tech features of the other boots. The Blue Ridge does not have a 1 piece upper nor does it have Gore-Tex membrane. However, it will be difficult for other mid-priced boots to compete with this outstanding product.

A good boot for all types of chainsaw work, above or on the ground.
