Fully half of the cover strands are bright red or bright green extrusion dyed polyester, resulting in permanent coloration that won't fade or run with use.

Abbey pro recommend that your Split Tail is of a different colour to you climbing rope. This way you can reduce the risks, Yale Split Tail have recored serial numbers.
