GRIGRI - Self-braking belay device and descender

For work positioning on inclined surfaces and for switching between short ascents and descents on a rope.

• Self braking system:
  • locks onto the rope if a fall occurs.
• Simple to use:
  • use the handle to unlock the rope,
  • control the rope running through the device by varying the grip on the free end of the rope,
  • rope climbing is possible without changing the position of the Grigri by adding a footloop and a handled rope clamp / grab.
• Allows for belaying a leader or second.
• Extremely strong and durable:
  • body in anodized aluminum and cam in stainless steel;
  • handle in glass fiber reinforced polyamide.
